Then, plug it in and let it run for 2-4 days, depending on taste. Some people like the meat very dry and others like it slightly moist. The unit features an electronic temperature/humidity display with a clear top and front to allow visual inspection without even opening the lid.  When ready, remove the dried product and enjoy. Cleaning: Cleanup is quick and easy because meat doesn’t touch the chamber. It involves throwing away a recommended layer of paper towels used to catch some drippings and then washing the stainless steel skewers for the next batch.
